La Leche League International is a non-profit, non sectarian organization dedicated to giving mother-to-mother support for those wishing to breastfeed their babies. La Leche League Leaders are volunteer mothers who have breastfed their babies. Leaders have completed training and have been accredited through La Leche League International. Accredited La Leche League Leaders give help and support to breastfeeding mothers over the telephone, and in person.
All women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to monthly meetings, including those expecting a child, or who are supporting a breastfeeding mother.
Breastfeeding babies are always welcome at meetings, as are quietly-playing older children.
